![]() ![]() I used TeXstudio for about 5 years, then mostly switched to LaTeX workshop+VScode which I've been using for about 5-6 years now. I think Overleaf is still a bit better for simultaneous editing with multiple users, but this can also be done with VSC and git and proper merging procedures. It does have its learning curves for more advanced features like custom build recipes and stuff, but it is my favorite TeX editor. ![]() It doesn't have as many TeX-specific features as something like TeXStudio, but it makes up for it IMO in flexibility and connectivity. Particularly if you do other code development, it is nice to be able to have everything in a single editor with the ability to commit and push to GitHub with a single button. I would highly recommend it not necessarily for the features included in the extension itself, although there are some nice ones, but more because it allows you to interface with all the other features of VSC, which is one of the most feature-rich text editors out there. It was an approved piece of software when I worked in a very secure and tightly-managed computing environment at a previous employer.
